I used my knife and removed the lens , they just pop right off. Look on the inner part of the lens. That should do the trick..

Can anyone tell me the correct LED Bulbs I would need for my 06 PT Cruiser Touring. I trust people on this site, because we all have a PT and I know that we all help eachother out on here,

Maplights x2... they have TS 212-2
Dome x1.... has TS-578

Now these bulbs are festoon and I want to make sure that I get the right ones ... The 212-2 is it 39mm ,, and the 578 is it 44mm????????

I'm looking to upgrade most if not all of my interior lights with blue led's. I have a 2001 PT. These are the bulbs I am looking to replace and their numbers. Can anyone tell me exactly which led's I should replace these with?

Rear Cargo Lamp-T904

Dome Lamp-T579

Map/Reading Lamp-T1037

Console Flood Lamp-T37

Instrument Cluster Illumination-PC194

Visor Vanity-6501966

Also can anyone tell me exactly which light the Console Transmission Range Indicator is? Is that the one that lights up my shifter, or is it something else?

does anyone know how to change the color of the interior lights?


i was looking for a normal blue to match the other lights i installed and my radio. the green looks bad with it.

Seems like I remember on one of the dakota forums im on that you can take the instrument cluster and open it up and take a zacto knife and scrape the white / green film off thats on each line and numeral, and then get some transparent paint whatever color you want and put on there, and viola.

Kno any other mods? I was really hoping there is some way to get new headlights. It's tedious but I had an idea to mod them and have them look somewhat like the new audi headlights

i carry a 9 LED flashlight in the car all the time so who needs dome lights?
