Default stainless stick on,s

I have been thinking of buying a 17 piece stainless steel trim package for the interior of my 04 turbo. My question is how many people have tried this and how well does the two sided tape really work? Are there there any steps to prevent the rings from becoming un-stuck? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Most of the "kits" comes with an Adhesion Promoter that is used to clean and prepare the surface for the 3M double sided tape. The double sided tape works really well and with the promoter used properly, the pieces such as your stainless steel interior, will stay on just about forever.

Cool Re: stainless stick on,s

Mega Crewzin ditttos!
Clean the surface with Alcohol; then adhesion promoter.
If you've got a lot to do, or like me, want to go slowly, you will run out of promoter. Buy an adhesion promoter PEN! (Cheap enough; and goes a long way!)

I bought a quart of Mineral Spirits at Home Depot, and have used it to put all of the "shiny" stuff on my PT. That way I don't have to depend on that little bit of adhesion promoter that is enclosed with the kits.
