Cool Re: 06 air bag cover

When you airbrush the air bag cover, you are betting teh bag will never be deplyed, because of the cost.
The alternative is, picking out some graphics, and working with PurpleJalopy.com to do it in peel off vinyl. The work is veryu high quality, and individual lines, not a large piece of clear plastiv with graphics on it.
See soonercruiser's air bag graphic below....

Cool Re: 06 air bag cover

Mine only took a couple of weeks to work out the actual graphic look - Mark & Jody did a great job of fine tuning my basic idea. But, then again, they were passing through here on their way to a show, and installed it themselves.
-your problem is installing the graphic if you aren't on the East coast.
I'm not sure I would have tackled that myself!

Sooner, thanks for the info, the work on your pt looks great but like you said I would not want to tackle a job like that and then screw it up. There are a couple places near me here in Arizona but not sure how they would feel about placing someone elses work on my car.

I have seen a few jobs done by Purple Jalopy and they do look good. I might send them an email just to see what they say. If its alright with you I'll mention your name and tell them how happy you are with their work.

Thanks again,,
