for the 06 auto, the shift knob has a top button, and i find myself resting my hand on the knob quite often ...
are there any replacement knobs that have the button on the side/front of the knob - not on top?

With some modification a B&M T-handle can be converted to the button on the side and it looks pretty cool too. I have a friend that did this with an S-10when converting to a V-8 and a floor mounted automatic.
