Keyless Remote Question

I just bought a 04 Cruiser and it did not have a remote, but the car has power locks. Is there a way to find out if the car already has the reciever for a remote. I would hate to buy an aftermarket kit if it already has one and all i need is a remote fob.

The Remote Keyless Entry is above/behind the radio.
Do you know the model? Base didn't come with remote entry.

Go to your local dealer and run the VIN. They should be able to tell you by that and if so you can either order a keyfob then or try and find one off ebay. Either way the dealer will have to program it to match the car.

Take it to the dealer...they will be able to check if it is equipped with keyless entry by hooking up a computer to it. If so buy the remotes off ebay and have the dealer program 2 at once for one price.
