Default How Do You Remove The Vanity Mirror Bulb

I have the manual and the instructions are useless.
I've tried to "gently" take it out, but there is no room to pull the bulb completely out.

So how do you get the glass bulb out of the white plastic piece or do you somehow remove the white plastic piece?

So my wife is the only one who owns a Limited Edited whose bulbs have burned out?

The manual states that it is a 6501966 which it is not!

The white plastic piece will slide out a little but then hits the gray plastic edge with most of its body still in the slot.

I went to the dealer, for my year Chrysler really hosed it. The bulb is not made to be replaceable. Chrysler told me that I would have to buy a new vanity sunshade for about $130.

Using Dremel tools, I was able to modify the bulb socket and surrounding plastic so that I can now replace it.
