It would be very helpful for you to pick up a Haynes manual for your car, as it provides step-by-step instructions on how to do basically anything to your car, with pictures as well..

They might have it. If they don't, be sure to swing by an Autozone or Advance Auto Parts. They'll definitely have it. It's come in EXTREMELY handy over the past couple years with my PT.

Something tells me it was like $15-20 but in my mind, the information has been priceless. All of Haynes' manuals consist of a complete tear down and rebuild of every car.. so you can look up how to take care of routine maintenance, changing brake pads, swapping out sensors, installing new fuel lines and even removing your interior panels.

You sure about this?

This is my GT when I painted the dash panels, if you are brave and can handle removing the passenger airbag you are good to go. I hadn't gotten dash panels out yet, I was taking a break after treaing out my entire dash to get to them.

The following instructions will work for a 01-05.

The center bezel is easy, I would start there, if you feel comfy with this I will be happy to give tear down instructions for the dash panels. But the car is not driveable during the dash panel mod!

Center Bezel removal:
Trim stick in the window switch at the top, pull down and out, it will pop out the window switch. Disconnect the switch from the harness .

Behind where the window switch was remove the screw that is top center set aside.
Pull off all A/C knobs 01 only all A/C control knobs must be straight up in order to come off. All other years it does not matter.
At this point the center bezel is ready to come out
Just pull and work your way around the edges, it is held in by snap clips they can be a bit tight so once you get one out just work your way around so you don't bend the bezel.. But getting it started may require some force.
Remember the A/C vents are attached and will come with the bezel.
They are removed by just taking out the two or three screws holding them in place on the back.

Reverse process to replace and your car is driveable without the center bezel in it. At night you will get lots of light thrown by the dash lights, but you can deal with it for short trips. Just plug in the window switch and off you go..

My personal thanks to veteran and novice crewbies that have offered information and how-to's they have been instrumental in taking LiquidPT from modded car to stock to live a more quiet and sedate life.
