Sometimes, actually quite often, if my car is off and i open the doors to get something , and close the doors and lock them - the dome light stays on like i didn't close the door
i need to turn on my car and back off, then when i close my door the dome light turns off. does this make sense? usually the dome light starts going off in a few seconds of the door closing.. what could it be? |

If your PT is before the 2006 model the dome light stays on for about 3 minutes or a little more. It does go out almost instantly if I turn the key on. If I hang around waiting for it to go off it feels more like 10 minutes, but eventually it does go out. Same for the hatch light in the rear when you leave it open. It seems to take forever for the rear light to go out. I'm pretty sure there's no adjustment on the earlier models.
