i did two things to make my front cup holder more useful. first, i lined it (and all the other cup holders, screw holes, pen holders, etc.) with padding. i made templates of each opening, and cut out the shapes on a nice unused black rubber floormat. makes it look more finished, and helps hold everything. second, mine came with the ashtray. so i use that as a coin holder, works much better than the plastic coin thing that it came with (which i threw out and replaced with a flamed billet insert, can't remember where i got it). still use the front one mostly for glasses and my phone, but have had not problems with drinks. know there are billet inserts for the cup holder with patterns, could always get that and just have it be 'bling'!

I just painted, chromed covered or billeted everything. As far as a cup holder, since I don't want to scratch or mess up anything, I cover the lower half of whatever I'm drinking with a napkin or paper towel which protects the bottom and makes the cup fit nice and snug in any of the cupholders.

Hey Crewzin! Love that pic, especially the painted floor console and center bezel![] What are the extra red switches for? NOS? Rocket fuel? Time warp? James Bond like toys? Rocket launcher?[?] I think they look cool. Seriously thou, what are they for?[:I]

The red one on the left is a spring loaded push putton for my Ahooga Horn. The lighted rocker switch on the right is the on/off for the LED undercar lights. The silver computer thingy in the cubby hole is the computer control for the LEDs.

tpscruiser,
The "8" ball was put on with RED Loctight. It'll never come off...or turn around. It's right side up if your looking down at it from outside the windshield.

Cool! I'd love to put some undercar neon on my PT (I think a blue neon would look great with my black PT), but it's illegal in NY while the car is being driven. If I get it, it would simply be for showing when I'm stopped.[:0]

I have no problems with my cup holders. I took our old rubber inserts out of the cup holders we had in the 97 Cavalier and they make a nice fit.
I also find that the round cup holder is a great place to put my ipod mount from Belkin.

No problem here either. GET A NEW COFFEE CUP!!! The best way to describe mine is take a football and cut it in half. The half fills in the holder real nice and tight.
