I have yet to find a cup that won't fall out of the too large and way-too-shallow front cup holders. Has anyone tried to make an insert for this? Something simple with deeper walls would make the cupholders much more functional AND you could put something in the middle such as a cell phone holder or gauge pod or switches, etc. Any thoughts?

Point / counter point
A can of soda pop fits fine in all 4 cupholders. Even with my 110hp nitrous shot, not one can has ever fallen out. The slim designed can huggies that Chrysler offers with the PT logo make a perfect and snug fit. |

I keep my '50s flashlight in mine.
It's one of those fine details of my '50s streetrod look. ![]() Some day I'll acually make a holder for it that will replace those cup holders. as I recall, we didn't have cup holders in the 1950s. [ ]

I'm resurrecting this old post, just in case someone has come up with something suitable in the last year.
Anybody [:I] ??? Thanks, Brian

I found the cardboard sleeves for insulating coffee cups from convenience stores make a nice snug fit for the coffee cups. Wothout them, the cup is too loose.

I'm still using the same 4 foam huggies from the Chrysler accessories catalog.
Never spilled a drop since November 13th, 2000. (the day I took delivery of my first PT Cruiser) |
