2003 seats in 2007 model. First hinder

OK. I bought a complete 2003 black leather interior for my 2007 Cruiser.

Backseats are in place. No problems at all. They are exactly the same as 2007.

Now the front seats: The seatbelts are fixed on the outer site of the 2007 frontseats. But no such arrangement is possible on the 2003 seats. Anyone who tried this and who would be kind enough to tell what to do with the seatbelt-fixation?

Are you talking about the upper slide-through attachment? My 2008 has no upper attachment to the seat, at all. Is it really necessary?

Not sure. But after seeing the trouble with airbags ahead I have made an appointment with the authorized dealer. He will try to make the change for me next week

Result is that it is not possible to put in frontseats from 1999-2005 into the 2006- models.
Safetybelt does not fit and it is not possible to change the safetybelts.

So I had to give up. Bought seats from a crashed 2006 GT. It only took 10 minutes to change. And now I have 2003 black leather seats for sale

Actually you can put 01-05 seats in 2006 and newer. It takes some doing but it may be done as I have just completed the task of 01 seats to my 06. I had to buy the 01 seat belts, trim, center console, then I had to take the bottoms off of them. Long process and things to do.
