Hey their PT Guys, and Gals,

Hey ChrissC1981, Welcome to the Forum, and congrats on your new Ride!

I'll go ahead and throw old Mitch over at Cruiser Motor Sport into the mix. He is one of the larger PT Parts stores around with a ton of everything, and has a very good solid rep around the PT Community. Here is a Link to his site:

Products Menu

Chrome parts at Mitch's Shop:

Chrome Accessories

Maggie at Race and Street doesn't have as large of selection of parts as Mitch, but again solid rep and is your next solid bet for sure,

Ray at PTeazer is hands down the best for aftermarket body kits, front ends, grilles, roll pans, and more, and once again has a very solid rep around the PT Community, and comes highly recommended!

As already mentioned, I really hate to bash anyone, but I would personally stay far, far away from PT Bob over at California Cruisers. They have a very poor rep, and have had a large number of issues on parts, and service.

That's about the just of the better parts houses. Most parts are very simple and self explanatory to put on ( most use Red 3M double sided Sticky Tape and just stick right over existing parts on your PT, or simply stick to the exterior). By using Tape, they can be taken off anytime in the future if you want to change the look of your ride. Most everything is pretty simple, but if you ever run into any questions, or problems please be sure to post here, and either myself, Slayer, or any number of other great people on this site would be more than happy to help you out anytime!

Welcome Chrissy, I'm new here too and to PTs. I've had my 07 now for a week as well. Lots of great info and help here.

You don't have a location in your profile but since you're asking that, I'm guessing you drive in it. Get a quality set of winter tires (all 4, not just the front) and it'll go through just about anything. I've had my car through 1.5 winters without getting stuck.

mopar_man knows what he is talking about when he says he knows snow. In the UP of Michigan they measure snow in feet. I used to live in Mid Michigan and in "The Thumb".

ChrissC1981, Welcome to the Forum. If you take a look at my Pictures, most of the shiny stuff came from Maggie at www.raceandstreet.com she is great to work with and quick shipping, sometimes she will offer a break on the shipping. Check out her website.

As someone who sees a lot of snow, the PT (with good tires) does well in snow. The stock Good Years are terrible.

I agree with that. The stock Goodyear Eagles on mine were horrible in the rain and snow - the front end would slide around and it was a little scary. I since replaced those with Goodyear triple-treads and have much better handling in the wet and dry.

Chrissy - congrats on the new PT!

Congrats on your new cruiser. I just got my 2001 limited a couple weeks ago. Although there is one problem, I am afraid to drive it because I dont want anything to happen to it.

Does anyone else have that issue?
