New Dash in old Cruiser?
I was wondering if anyone has put one of the newer style dashs in an older cruiser. I was not for sure if they would fit or not. Thanks

Light Almond, Chrome Bumpers, Pioneer DEH-P5100UB with hidden in dash Ipod, 2 12in Mtx terminators, 400 watt MTX Amp, 6 1/2 Infinity Refrences in the front, 5/8 Infinity Kappas in the back, Custom Diamond Plate Floor Mats, Some neon Lighting under the Dash and under the seats, K&N drop in, custom shift knob . Chrysler claims they have not changed the sheet metal on these cars one bit, so my guess it that you could make it work.

Non Turbo, Automatic Transmission 2003 Touring Edition, 85,xxx miles so far. Extras- cruise control, fog lights, sun roof, rear defroster, ABS, rear disk brakes, six speaker sound system, power locks, power windows, A.C., window tint, locking glove box. My personal mods so far- Cranecams Firewire spark plug wires, removed white air restricter, white hibiscus flowers sticker above the rear hatch lock, and little magnetic flames right behind both "PT Cruiser" logos on doors, nice white primer splotch underneath the passenger side tail light from bodywork...more to come once the money starts flowing freer and the car is payed off

Yeah that's what I've heard but I'm not sure if I could get all of the wiring to work or not. I've been tempted to pick one up from the junkyard and try it.

hmm, I don't know if some of the features on the new dashboard would work...I guess it all depends on what your car's computer is capable of.

Yeah I think it might be to big of an undertaking especially while Im in school. I was just tryin to find if anyone has done it. I really want the clock and the canabus system in my dash.
