Hey their azkruzn,

Yep you surly can. its just got a little skinny pin you push instead of the ball. Just be careful as I had mine off when my ride went into the shop to install my air ride and somehow someone accidentally snapped it off so evidently it is not the most sturdy thing in the world, but you can drive it nonetheless.

Go easy, and I will catrch ya later.

Haha, in high school my best friend had this busted ass Datsun that, while he had a key to lock it, to turn the ignition he used a flat head screw driver! :O There were other problems (the day I asked him to turn on the heat because I was cold, he reached in the back and handed me a blanket, the bottom of the steering column was all wires and I was advised not to put my backpack on the floor for fear of having to Fred Flintstone it later - this is the short list) but that always caught me as the weirdest!

Thumbs up Re: can I drive it

Now that's a good friend, right there. If he was just a "friend," he woulda said that there's nothing he can do about it rather than give you a blanket.

My dad had a fairly old Beetle and said that if we wanted A/C, we'll just roll down the windows. If we wanted it on full blast, we'll open the doors (while we're stopped of course).

When I was in high school, there was no such thing as an old Datsun. When we wanted AC, we opened all of my big Rambler's eight windows--it had two vent windows and two roll-down on each side.
