Default MGW Door Lock Pins

I installed a set of MGW door lock pins today. These are a very nice part. I especially like the ability to adjust and lock the pins at the best height. These $34 chrome pins are well worth the money.

Each pin comes with a large set screw and two set screws to fill the hole. Looks weird but works great.

GTSteve - did you remove your door panels to install those? If you did, how difficult was that?
By the way, your GT is looking awesome!!!

I did not remove the door panels. When you remove the stock pins, they have a hex shape on the bottom. You have to pull and work them up out of the hole which will slightly oblong the hole in the door. I pushed the edges of the holes back into shape with a blunt tool. You can't even see it now. Then I installed the new pins. There are VERY GOOD instructions with the MGW pins. BTW, my old pins didn't fill the door hole completely which looked aweful. These fill the hole completely. Take my word for it . . . GET EM!

Thanks for the compliment on my car. Actually, there are many nicer cars out there. I'm just trying to do what I can on a budget.
