Coin holders

Is there any one who make a custom cover to get rid of the coin holders in the floor console.

I have no cover but mine is slowly disappearing due to gauges and switches and the like. I'm sure if you use plastic or aluminum or something, it wouldn't be hard to trace around the edge of the existing piece (the one that has the squares for coin openings) to make a replacement. Once you've made something the same size and shape without the holes you could simply put it in instead of the current one and since it has no holes, it'd look like a solid piece. Hope this makes sense...the plastic piece in there now is pretty easy to pull out.

Thanks for that. I was hoping to find a pre-made item that was etched or engraved. Oh well out with the pencil and file.

Hey! There is a guy down the street that owns a dash recovering shop. He saw the PT, and wants to do some carbon fibre stuff to it. One of the things he can do is a cover for the coin holders. So when he gets it done, I will let you know! He is also making oval covers for the airbag warnings on the sun visors. He can etch names, etc into them. So I will keep you posted!
