About those dots on the steering wheel, if you get into an accident and the front airbag deploys, won't those dots shoot out and perhaps cause damage to the driver? [:I]

Don't think there would be a problem as the dots are not metal, just vinyl--the same texture as the center of the steering wheel.

I was more concerned about the velocity of those vinyl bits when the airbag deploys. At high speed those bits could do serious damage to an eye or facial skin. Think of how a paper cut works. Just playing Devil's Advocate here. I pray I'm never proven right! [}]

Think I would be more concerned about the [u]Chrysler logo emblem</u>...
...located in the center of the steering wheel than about the dots. I don't see this as being a safety issue. Just my two cents.

1. I don't plan on the air bag deploying, guess I'm an optimist!!!

2. I think they are a inexpensive 'MOD".

3. IF I get in a situation that the airbag deploys, they will be the least of my problems.

Thanks anyway

PT-ERA: FYI: Just rec'd the dash dots, they are the thickness of a piece of paper so they will not cause any damage IF the air bag deploys.
Thanks for your concern.

Has anyone ordered the Inferno Red dash dots? If so, how well does the color match?

When I had my 2003 Inferno Red GT I ordered a "PTC" window decal and a rear shelf decal from this company and the color was very close to a perfect match. [8D]
