Not that I would be concerned about it either, but something that thin can still cause a lot of damage. A guy I know has had to have eye surgery, twice, for a torn retina. Once from a piece of paper and once from the corner of a thin platic bag. I was standing right in front of him when the second one occured. Hard to imagine something so flimsy possibly destorying your eyesight.

Thanks. The flames and pin-stripes were hand-painted--NO DECALS. For more information see the following threads:

Well they are exceedingly sweet! I have tried to find someone in this area that does that kind of work but no luck yet. The closest I have got is a local guy the does motorbikes but sneers at doing custom paint work on cars!!
He more than likely doesn't has the skill to do a car Bike tanks are easy by comparison. there is allot more to custom painting than just the painting itself. Like making sure both sides are the same & layout.

The circumference groove around the horn button splits except at the top button when the air bag deploys. The cover is molded thick at the top so it acts as a hinge and flips the whole horn assembly upward, if the steering wheel is straight.
This may help you in considering the odds of what goes where in an accident......or just don't have a wreck!

Could you not just paint the dots before applying them?

Also, do they lose adhesion in the heat?
