Frank, WTF is welting? I mean what's it made of? I assume 3m sticky stuff too?

Santana, where did you come up with that nice, thin chrome stripping? Me, I've got all the Mopar chrome inside but want to add more (uh, gee, I wonder why....maybe has to do with my name?).

chromenut the cord welt from mikes is plastic and it does not come with adhesive it has a thin tab running the length of the cord so you have to push and incourage it into the seams or crevises of the dash and the interior.i wish i had this type of welt when i was doing upholstery i did for a good many years it would have made my work a lot easyier

I sent Mr. Mike an email asking about any options for the surround on my center console. On the >'06 models there is no seam around the dash like you guys have in previous year models.

Anyway, looks interesting and looks very easy to install, but I'm really wanting either chrome or stainless. We'll see, just another thing to add weight to my car! lol
