Anything can be done with the right finances, expertise and time.
I'm sure the wiring harness is completely different and you'd need a new dash pad (on top). The cruiser hasn't grown or shrunk so it's bound to fit, just lots of work. Same for the front end on your other post.

Crewzin's right, with the right amount of money you can get anything done. but if you don't want to have to deal with that i would say just walk away. your better off buying parts for your year elsewhere, except for the seats, there might not be that much of a difference, but i would be best to ask around.

I would have thought he knew what they look like since he's thinking of doing a swap.

In '06 they switched to CanBus - not completely sure what that means, but expect electrical incompatibilities.

I think the '06 and up dashes are somewhat sexy, but I really prefer the '04's and earlier. They were more 'funky', and seem to me to fit the reputation of the car better.

Look at that and compare to gkid's photo. The '06 and up is too stiff looking, almost an uptight look, too many straight lines. The '04 is fun and funky, lots of curves. Me, I wish they'd left that dashboard and center console alone!

Oh crikey... this reminds me of my two wives. My first wife was skinny as a rail, model thin, tall as a stork, but downright bony. And with a personality to match. My current wife is short, lots of nice curves, well built, made for fun. Just no comparison at all!!! Shame I got stiff uptight dash on my PT...sigh....b*tch... but I'm not bitter.....
