[:I]OK HERE IS A TOUGH ONE. I WANT TO PUT A BILLET STEERING WHEEL IN MY CAR, I UNDERSTAND I WOULD LOSE THE DRIVERS SIDE AIR BAG AND BECAUSE OF THIS NO COMPANY WANTS TO GET INVOLVED. IM WILLING TO DO IT AS LONG AS IT WILL NOT EFFECT THE ACTUAL STEERING AND OPERATION OF THE CAR
DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMEONE THAT COULD HELP ME WITH THIS? [?][^][?] |

it's no big deal, to find the proper adapters on the net.... |

1MEAN PT concur with Punch. BTW, please use lower case and stop YELLNG! It's much easier on the eyes and easier to read.

If you really, really want one, here's an option. Visit a salvage yard and get a bad DC steering wheel with the same splines ( and maybe the hole to make the clockspring work). Cut off the spokes leaving only the hub. Have a billet aluminum cover/adapter turned to bolt to the hub. Then attach your custom wheel. To CMA, "you should have an appropiate air bag included."

You may also lose the Cruise Control. This is mounted to the OEM steering wheel, and not the column.

hello is there a adapter for the pt steering wheel to bolt on a billet steering wheel? i heard of using a 95 or newer chevy adapter is this true.. please reply. thanks[xx(]

You can check with Roger Tessman (fear1PT) over on the PTE Forum. He's done it in his PT Cruiser. BTW --- It is a very hefty fine if you get caught.
