Default need help

I had smoke coming out of my 2002 pt. it smelt like a wire burning. i shut down the car. smoking stoped. i turned it back on and i had no dome lights, no power door locks, no radio, and odom is reading no fuse. checked all fuses even the 20amp under hood. before this happened i was having problems with the volume button on the radio, there seemed to be a short in it. don"t know what to do now.

Check again the IOD fuse (no# 17) in the PDC (power Distribution Center) under the hood. Sometimes it's not easy to detect when it blows. It's not easy to check or take out.

Also, if you think the problem is the radio. Pull out the #13 fuse in the interior fuse box till you get everything working again. Then replace it and see if everything works.

It would also be nice to introduce yourself as this is a forum and not just an "ask a question and leave" kind of site.
