So the 2002 switches are the ones that come with the lights?

I have 2005 touring.... NONE of my front power window switches light up, nor my 2 rear power window switches. neither do my door lock switches on the doors. I was wanting to replace these, and thought about changing the color. Can i install a set of blue bulbs throughout and it look right? *wasnt sure if the switch itself is what is colored*. Do you by chance know what size bulbs they are for the 05?

Almost certainly your 2005 cruiser doesn't have the bulbs in the switches and the required wiring in harnesses to the doors and rear window switch (at rear of console) will not exist.
You would need to install small bulbs and all of the wiring. The OEM bulbs are not LED. IIRC, the door switches also lack the required male spades in their connectors.
The easiest way to light these up is to replace the switches with some salvaged from a 2002 year car, but you still will need to add the wiring and perhaps the female spades in the connectors.
The small grain of wheat bulbs have little colored covers (like condoms).

Just been throught this today, theres only 3 bulbs, one for the window icon (blue condom) and 2 for the top switches.
The contacts on mine were a bit dirty but that was all.
ive got the bulbs coming tomorrow so will change them out.
Nice instruction set for this sanatanadharma.

I am looking forward to seeing this, as I would like to light up the ones on my DC2. I just have the basic fronts that light. There is a 02 in the local wrecking yard too...lol I know where I'm heading Monday!
