Default Interior Accent Lighting Question

Hey guys! I'm thinking about putting in some interior accent lighting - my question is about where we would locate the switch and what style switch to use - maybe like a factory switch? I'd really like it to coincide with the switches on the center console like where the hazard light and defrost switch... Any ideas on where to start looking or if this is even possible?

Shame you're not coming to NC!!!! I can only imagine the ideas I would get from seeing your PT in person!!!

I checked out your blog - very nice PT!!! I like how you loctaed your switches, too... unfortunately in my '08 theres no pencil holder thingy for me to mount in. I'm thinking about mounting them in a small box (this switches I ended up ordering are 3/4" DIA Round Rocker Switch - 12V LED - Prewired in Blue, Red, Green, White, Amber, Pink - my plan is to have 2 seperate runs of neon GloWire 1 hot pink and one electric blue for floor wells front and back) and mounting that box somewhere below the dash... still stuck at the drawing board for the moment

I put a round switch like that in my lower dash to turn the MOPAR sub on/off, it's in the extra space between the rear wiper and traction control switch. It looks sort of factory... When I did it I couldn't find one with a light in it so I went with a regular one. like this: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3016149
I don't have any pics at the moment...

Thanks for the suggestion - I'm beginning to curse my '08's interior layout!!!! At least dash wise... My rear wiper switch is located on an arm off the steering column... I was thinking about mounting on either side of the rear defrost & hazard buttons (I got one blue switch for the blue lighting and a pink switch of course for the pink lighting) but I'm on the fence about putting them there.

By the way.. Nail polish takes off ink from plastic very nicely... If you can find those switches, that would look excellent
