Default Rear Cargo Light

Hey y'all,
I'm looking at maybe putting a cargo light in the hatchback of my '02. Would like to mount it in the hatchback itself and put a switch of some type so that when you raise it,it comes on. Does not have to work with the interior dimmer, but would be nice if were possible. Any ideas or direction. Thanks, and only 4 weeks until IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!

I don't have any pictures of it, but can take some if you want, but I added a portable LED light kit to the trunk lid of my PT. It's got 4 variable heads that you can point in any direction, each head having three or four LED's in it. It's mounted on a snap-on bracket so that if I need to take it out I can. Works wonders, just have to remember it's there so that you don't mash up against it. I mounted it just below where the hatch seals.

Let me know if you want pictures. It takes 8 AA batteries and I've only had to change them out once or twice a year. Works fabulous. I also mounted magnets on the back of it so that I can hang it almost anywhere when needed, like in the engine bay if I need light at night, just clipped to the hood.

Sorry, been out of town. Would love to see some pictures. That space is just too dark.
