Default installation holder for pda

can somebody give me some instructions about the solid installation of a pda (hand computer) on the front of a pt cruiser; essential is the installation of the cable to the gps sensor that must be put invisible behind the pannel - only the plate under the steering wheel is easy to remove but the rest of the central module ???
thanks,
lucca

lucca, welcome to the forum. Not sure what you're question is but here are instructions for removing the center console and the instrument cluster.

I plan on doing the same thing, installing the GPS antenna under the dash next to the windshield defrost vent. I suggest getting the Service Manual for such a project; I am glad I got one.

Hi lucca. O.K. I'll take a stab at it.
Try: http://www.pdadyno.html. Click on Product
Info. They sell something called a "magnetic windshield mounting kit. PN#441 001 011. @28.90
Hows that? P.S. if it doesn't work try the
nology.com website. Under PDA.

Oh, ya, I forgot to mention my PDA bracket. I got one made by Ark (Google search for it). I have the goose-arm base bolted to the seat where a flexible arm screws into, then the PDA bracket screws into the arm. You can fully adjust the placement of the PDA.

I can remove the goose-neck and stow it all in the underseat drawer and you see nothing. I will try to take pics this week and post them.

Does anyone else sell software to use your PDA like a G-Tech, such as the Nology unit? one problem I see with theirs is that it works on OBD II, and I *thought* the PT was OBD III. Am I wrong on that?
