Default radio bezel

I bought a radio bezel from the MRK Group. This piece is supposed to go over the orginal radio bezel. I tried installing it today, but it seems the piece is a little big. When I get it on and push on it to get it flush against the original bezel, it pops up on the sides. I think I might have to trim the edges. Anyone have this problem?

If it's the $89.99 bezel from MRK Group, that doesn't cover the original, it takes the place of the original.

Is this the one you bought?

soyomb,

Your right. I thought what they were selling was what was in the picture but they are showing the original bezel with the colored overlay on it. My bad.

Yes, it's the overlay one. Should I trim the overlay and attach it with the original bezel off?

if it were mine, i would take the original bezel off and see how the fit is. I'd hate to butcher a $90 accessory.

then, if the fit is off, trim as necessary.

I'm curious as well... I'd love to fix the ugly stock one in my husband's cruiser...

The bezel is way to thin, you have to overlay it over the origianl one. I'm won't be able to mess with this for a while. I'll post the pics once it's done. I deceided to add the belt trim today instead, since we had nice weather and no electricity.
