Smile Got bored today and painted the shift ball...

Today I got bored and decided to take my shift ball off and repaint it. As you can see, it was pretty worn...

I cleaned it up, sanded it a little, and shot a few coats of primer sealer on it.

Let it dry in the house for a while...

And finally put it back together. I am happy with the results.

Now if the paint can hadn't ran out of the aresol, I would have painted more.

Shawn

Looks good, I like the flakes in the paint. I talk to Liquid Illusions - Gallery a shop near me about dipping mine but I might try painting it.

Is the silver GT ball and the white base shifter balls the same size? [might need one from a junk yard to try to paint]

That was a unique creation. sometimes when I got bored I used to entertain my self in doing something different.
