custom gauges

Thanks for the update JaxPT. I looked on e-bay and did not see a hvac panel, I'll keep my eyes open and let you know if I find anything.

Thanks IR, I'll check the junkyards as soon as I get some time, IE after i recover my beretta. It should only cost me a few bucks at the most for an HVAC panel. I'll just send everything to em in one fed ex shipment since i get 75% off using them and hopefully get these started soon.

As a side note, has anyone managed to change the defroster and window switch bulb color to anything other than green? I believe the bulbs are clear and there's a translucent plastic green filter involved. What are the bulb sizes and are there colored aftermarket pieces available? To get those to match whatever gauge colors you choose would be 100% right on.

Also, one of the gauge options is for customized graphics. Here's a chance for PT'er (?!) with the know-how to present some ideas startinggggg... now. There are some pretty crazy graphics out there for the Honda's already, so you know SpeedHut has the ability to accommodate.

Ok I have the gauges from a 2001 cruiser ready to go to speedhut, now as soon as i can find the HVAC knobs and plastic cover I can ship all of this out and start the orders....soon, muhahahaha, sooooon lol

If someone with a turbo could get me a really good digital pic of each of the gauges in thier car so that i can e-mail it to speedhut i would really appreciate it. basicly they need to be able to look at the pic and make out the logos etc so if you can take a kinda close up individual pic of each gauge that would be great
