Here's what I'm going for to match my Kenwood head unit:

In my mind, the only way the HVAC will integrate properly is to have SpeedHut do it. So I'll see if I can find the assembly somewhere, but so far the cost is just stupid. When/if I find one - or if somebody else secures one - post the find here.

So Jax, they need the face panel and knobs for sure or (???). Who is your contact?

Since SH does graphics, it would be nice to have some graphics experts contribute here. I can think of two items right off the bat: 1. PVO & 2. PT Cruiser font. Now how would these files be accessible from the forum?

You can download the PT Font from my website, go to the 'Mod Tips/Help' page or just right click on the link below and select 'Save Target As'.

Yeh man, speedhut needed the plactic HVAC faceplate and the Knobs. i kept looking/calling around but couldnt find anything. the link that IR provided is pretty good though, PT and neon have interchangable HVAC controls and for the same $20, its just easier to order it seperate from speedhut.

I sent them the cluster the other day, They should have gotten it yesterday, I'm just waiting for confirmation from them and instructions on how they want to go about placing pre orders

as soon as they get back to me i'll let ya know

I'm going for this look with the edition of the "pimp ride" fonts and the nekkid chickie shadow

that should match the blue on the interior pretty well

Latest and greatest....

Speedhut has the console that I sent, they're ready to add it to the development program and begin taking pre orders. They are tryin to see if I can get the HVAC panel because they would like to make it part of the group buy. I advised them of the PT/Neon interchangable panel and I'm waiting to hear back if they may already have one or be able to get one sooner than I can.

If you want you can e-mail me and just let me know you'll be interested in the group buy, this way I'll have a better idea of how many more we may need for the group.

sooooon muhahahahahahahaha [^][?][8]

JaxPT, I sent you an e-mail via the forum. Not sure if that is working but anyway, count me in on the group buy.

Just another alternative . . .

For another car in our family, a forum was trying to work through SpeedHut for reverse-indiglo gauges, but the price and 20 person prebuy ended it after about 2 months. Then the forum found:
http://www.streetracerparts.com/inde...on=Custom&ID=6
Half the price of SpeedHut, only required 10 people to 'prebuy', completed the gauges in about three weeks after 10th person bought in, and shipped very quickly. I found their reverse-indigo gauges to be a v-e-r-y good fit, installed easily, and look good, too . . .

mmmmm, thanks for the alternative and all, but I've been workin hard on this speedhut deal for awhile now. The other site ones arent all that bad but they also arent as customized as speedhuts are either. I have quite a few people interested in the buy so we'll see how I can work things with speedhut.

I too am going to stick with the SpeedHut project because I want to see it happen [?]

I agree the Neon HVAC panel looks the same:

Wonder if DC P#s verify this. Can't imagine they'd make two parts.
