custom gauges

Dude, those speedhut gauges are AWESOME! I was almost ready to buy a set of nu-image gauges, but speedhut can do what I really want! I am so stoked. The link that was provided in an earlier post is so cool; the company lets you get an idea waht the gauges will look like during the day and at night. I can't decide if I like the silver face with dark blue markers or the white face with dark blue and the flames [:I]

Bummer that to-date, there are only four orders. I'll speak to the boss and see if I can make five. [)]

Yeh man I know only got 4 orders so far. 25 is a long way off, I trie to post in any pt forum I could find to see if maybe anyone else was interested. I figure as much as we like to mod our PT's I'd get alot more orders

I am really intersted in these. My question is will it go behind the faceplate that covers the stock gauges? I'm not sure if it is called a face plate, but it is the colored plate that goes over the gauges, or would I have ot take that off? Any word on how many more are needed before they start production?

you mean the acrylic lens that covers the gauges? yep it will you have to remove the gauge assembly and replace the old faceplates with these. check the FAQ on the speedhut page it should answer your questions. I'm not sure how man orders they have right now I havent checked in a while, its moving slower than i had hoped

After 10 mo. only 6 signed on so far. Looks as though the 25 order minimum won't happen.
One point of information that may be of interest, you can also have them custom make you 2 1/16" gauges for your A-piller that EXACTLY match the new custom dash faces right down to the lighting and type face. Your Cruiser wouldn't look like you ran through Pep Boy's with a magnet like All the other gauge installs you see out there.
