Default Button confusion

My daughter bought a 2001 and there are only 2 buttons for the windows not 4. I think I read that the 2 button switch is the norm? It's also non automatic. Can a simple switch removal and replacing with a 4 button take care of the automatic part or is the wiring to it entirely different?

Default Re: Button confusion

The earliest 2001 model year cars had two buttons on the dash switch panel for the two front windows. The rear windows were operable only from the switch panel at the rear of the center console.
Customer feedback (complaints) led to Chrysler changing the design before the end of the first year model production.
The front switch panel connectors and wiring is different so it is not possible to simply replace the two button switch with a four button switch.
