Question Question on Momo Floormats

Anybody ever try a set of Momo Floormats in your PT?
47.M105 G International Momo Car Mats - Black/Grey (4 Piece) for 01-up Chrysler PT_Cruiser at Andy's Auto Sport

or Nifty's Catchall mats?
799049 Nifty Catch-All Front 2-Piece Set (Black) for 01-up Chrysler PT_Cruiser at Andy's Auto Sport

The Momo's are 1/3rd the price of the OEM mats, and the Nifty's, I don't know, not sure I like the look, kind of too industrial. $30 for a set of 4 Momo's, it's going to be hard to say no. Only problem is, only one color - black.

Are they the ones that have PT Cruiser stitched on them? Still, I like the look of the Momo's, just wondering how they fit and how long they'll last. I'm getting ready to do another layer of eDead plus V3 sound proofing and thinking of replacing my carpet with black, or rather charcoal... should be interesting.

I don't know anything about the MOMO mats nor do I know the color of the interior of your cruiser. But you might want to give this a shot instead of replacing the carpet with a black one...

I've seen some pretty nice (and cheap) transformation using similar products online.

Naw, that's good for cloth and plastic, but not carpet. I've already spoken to a guy in a Honda that painted his carpet red. It's as hard as cardboard now, and add to it, that hardness reduces the amount of deadening you get with carpet. Guess I'm going to pull my carpet and have it professionally cleaned and try out the Momo's. As cheap as they are they can't be too terrible, but we'll see....

I'm going to do the same. Going to buy me some Momos for daily use, then a nice set of PT floor mats for when I enter shows.
