Default SRT Gauge-Match made in Heaven

Just got the SRT gauge in, took off the casing around it and this is what it looks like in the pod. Such a nice fit

Your gauge is faulty if the needle does not sit at Zero when the motor is off.

FYI.

you can adjust it by sticking a screw driver in the back and slightly bending the arm. Hard to explain but stick a phillips in the back and watch the dial move as you push the curved band inside and you will see what i mean.

I hope you got a super good deal on the gauge. It looks good, but they are prone to failure and false readings. If you can't get it adjusted to sit at zero, the autometer pro-comp looks identical, except it doesn't say srt.

I have been trying to convince my boyfriend since I got my GT that he needs to get a boost gauge that reads higher for his stage 3 SRT-4 so that I can have his gauge. Right now his gauge just pegs out all the time. And I want one that doesn't fludder (it seems like a really cheap gauge that came with the car).

Sounds like your boyfriend is lazy. Maybe you need a different boy friend lol

Don't adjust the gauge setting to zero until you've installed it and had it connected up while the engine is running. Sometimes you'll get a pull on it, or even a slight push, after the engine has run and that will sometimes zero out the gauge. So make sure you use it first, then if it's not to zero go ahead and adjust the display armature.
