Default Rear Seat - Rear Window Switch Teenager feet protection

I'm looking for a solution for the Rear Seat - Rear Window Switch's (That are nearly on the floor -hello Chrysler! are they made to be used with your feet?) to protect them from more Teenager trampling feet damage.

Has anyone had an issue with this?

Thanks

m

If they can't respect your ride, they don't get to ride in it.

I've had to replace mine already as it was stepped on by my niece. I'm looking for a solution as well.

You can turn the rear switches off from the front switch middle bar (says LOCKOUT) but stopping your kids from beating on them, afraid not. You can easily take them out which leaves a square hole and cover it with something.

Quite awhile back, when I was making the plexiglas fillers (plugs) for the rear seat floor attachment covers, I also made a cover for the rear console window switches. It's SOMEWHWERE in the shop. I'll check tomorrow to see if I can find it. It protects the switches and is easily removable.

Please click on pics below for the seat attachment fillers (2 types).

I think locking them in front and then making a simple vinyl cover plate with velcro to hold it in place would protect the switches and be a simple fix.

Hello, Chrysler did move the rear passanger window switches higher off the floor on the 2006 and up. don't know if many know of this improvement.

Maybe a couple of drawer pulls (handles), the arch shapped ones, with 2 screws, above and below the switches would give protection against foot bumping???

Either this shape.....( or this shape.....[

One of the small things that bug me about the PT Cruiser is that why didn't Chrysler put the window switches on the doors?
