dash trim

I recently installed a benevento flat dash kit....looks terrific. What would really finish the job would be a piece of chrome or aluminum trim that would go around the outer edge of the center part of the dash. Anyone seen anything like this?

Rick Williams, welcome to the forum. Haven't seen anything like you mentioned but you can get billet alluminum knobs for the AC/Heat, etc.

cruiserbits/moss motors has a kit take a look and see if thats what your looking for.

you might check with airbillster. he paints the center bezel of the dash. he might be able to work out a color scheme for you. bright silver? hypersilver? chrome? he runs offers for painting the bezel @ ebay. nice guy--he has done some work for me. there are also companies that chrome plate plastic. hemmings motor news is an excellent source for plastic chromers. thier monthly publication is available in grocery stores or news stands. they also have a website that may be able to help you out. best of luck

How wide? TRIM-GARD has a 5/16" wide door trim which would wrap around the wood trim. Are we talking molded center pod here? If you don't like it, peel it off in a couple of hours before it sets and it's easier.

dash kit looks like this only is blue carbon fiber....would like to trim outer edge.

Maybe pinstriping tape would work. The tape comes in many colors, even chrome and in several widths. It's worth a try.[8D]
