question for jeweled vent knobs owners

how do they go on? do they slip over or replace the knob? i am looking for a set to replace the factory knobs for air direction and the airflow knobs (i don't want to file or glue the orignal knobs incase i want to upgrade the PT to a GT). finally where did you get them?

california cruiser has a nice set but i can't get an email from them (three weeks and no answer).

ah, but is there a place where i can order extra knobs? (i like keeping backups just in case - not too thrilled with filing knobs unless i have backups). how did you install yours?

What color is your interior? If you get a GT with the same color, switch them out before trade-in. They just pull off.

I just have the center jewel knobs. They fit on without filing. For the others I found chrome nut covers that fit them at Pep Boys. I like the contrast.
