Default Lund floormats review

I just picked up floormats for the PT. (07 Touring edition) I wanted something to protect the factory carpets/floorpan but the Weatherteks were too spendy, overkill and plastick-y.

I wanted something carpeted, that would stay in place and catch most slush and crappolla and keep it from bleeding through.

I ened up getting the Lund "Catch-All" in grey from Advance Auto Parts. They were $82 after discount (15% and $25 coupon current code FE9) so after the coupon (I'll easily use it for something else at AA) it will end up being $57 for two fronts.

I'm pretty impressed... they fit perfectly, the factory grommet is there and in the right place. They cup the whole pan area to contain most spills and they have a nice carpeted feel, not slick plastic/rubber. The color is slightly darker than the "Titanium" I think my interior is.

I like them... for the price I call them a big WIN!

Cool Re: Lund floormats review

I though about what you have done....but.....

If you really get slush, dirt, or even salt on your shoes from winter weather, the carpets are still a mess, and are a PITA to clean.

Every time I wash the Couture in winter, I pull out the Weathertechs, rinse or simply run a brush over, and lay sideways for about 15 minutes.
Perfectly clean looking and smelling, and dry in 15!
Just my 8,600 cents!

It's definitley more of a mess than the rubber ones but you can still yank them out and pressure wash them... which will clean most of that crap off pretty easy. I'm not working in mud or anything so there's not that much... just what clings to my shoes.

My experience with rubber or plastic floors especially with wet shoes is that they get that squeeky teeth jaring slick feel which is just plain irritating.

Sets my teeth on edge.. bleh.

Cool Re: Lund floormats review

No squeaky with the Weathertechs. Although I admit, with the two PTs, I can't afford the second set for the vert.
So, when the weather gets like it's been lately, the vert is in storage.

* The wiffie is actually jealous that they don't make Weathertechs back that far for her 1993 Grand Marquis!

I like my weathertech's. They do their job in catching the dirt and liquid spills. Worth the cost.
