Default Has anyone done this..... Velvet Interior

I am wondering if anyone has done anything like what is in Lowrider Mag. I am trying to get the crushed velvet look and was wondering what everyone thinks about it. Is it old school or still happening. Should I do something else like the pleeted look? If anyone has input that will be great Pics would be great too. Would love to see the custom insides other then painting everything.

Hmm, mid to late 70's look in a retro 40's style car. might work ...elvis or a bull fighter painted on the liner might be too much though. Come to think about it a nipped & tucked buttoned and pleated sedan delivery pt, with an air brushed pic on the outside like a 70's van would be cool old school.

with a tinted port hole or maltese cross on each side,of course.

Here is my Imagestation site: www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290846501. It has a button tufted velour interior but it's basically stock 1990.
(For those who wonder, "Why still on Imagestation?", I'm waiting to get a new set of pics before starting a new site.)[:I]

Thanks for the pic. That is something I want to do. How did it and is it a seat cover?

It really depends on what is the style where you live and what is *your* style. It's bigger on the West Coast than it is here on the East.
Personally, I can't stand those kind of interiors, but you have to do what you like, not everyone else. It's your car.

It's the original seat covers with the insert area replaced.

Why velour instead of leather? Cooler in summer, warmer in winter, and (button tufting) 2" of extra foam is softer on senior butt.[)]
