Does anyone know any manufacturer's part numbers for replacing the stock rear struts on a '02' PT Limited? I have a rear spoiler which contacts the roof when the hatch is fully open.
Thank you, five-speed |

Sup five-speed, go to your local parts store and just start going through the aftermarket struts they sale, you should be able to find some shorter than yours that will work.

5-speed,
Went out to my PT and looked at the struts. Seems to me, with not too much trouble, you should be able to move either end of the strut a couple of inches from the original spot thereby stopping the the hatch from going all the way up far enough to hit your spoiler. I may be wrong about that, but it's worth a try, or as James said, measure what you have and look for shorter ones. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> ![]() |
