Default Removing The Dash/Radio Bezel On A '06 Touring

I've seen the pictures, I can see the screws in the heating vents, but for the life of me I can't find any way to get a screw driver onto them. They appear to be covered in part by the vent shell, not allowing direct access to the screws. Any assistance at all will be appreciated, I need to swap out the power window switch because my driver's side front window is now stuck in the down position.

Thanks in Advance

John in Fuquay Varina, NC

I don't have the second generation but I think you have to turn the vent like 90 degrees one way or the other to get at the screws inside.

I will try that, since I only tried one position, the one that let me see the best.

Thank you.

Many thanks, that was it exactly. The vent louvers are horizontal, or spin it 180 degrees if you still can't see it, to get full access.

When I installed my stereo in my Cruiser I just left those screws out. I got tired of taking them in and out as I worked on the car each weekend.

Turns out I didn't need to take them out, since it's not the switch, its the junk inside the door that's decided it doesn't have to work any longer.

Check the wires where it comes froom the body to the door. MY 2006 Sebring
had several broken wires. Caused by the copper strands that are to thick, probably cheaper, thin wires strands would bend easier.

Angry Re: Removing The Dash/Radio Bezel On A '06 Touring

have an OG that my front left window went down and is not coming up. I've read the threads and it seems, like everyone else, it must be the switch. i can get the dash moving, but it does not remove from the top. reading the posts it seems there are 2 screws by the vents? Once i do this( i hope) do you think moving the wires will allow me to get the window up until the full switch actually comes in? Thank God for the Forum. everyone else s problems and cures have been super helpful!!

Here is a video on replacing the stereo, it shows you how to pull the cover off.
