I am thinking of purchaseing a Benevento dash kit and wondered if any one had any complaints on the kits. I want to make sure that the attachment is secure. Thanks

I have a Bevento dash kit with no problems. Very happy with it.[]

I have a 2004 pt and am looking at a kit from them also. I like the one that has the molded peices that fit on the center console. I think that would look better than a flat kit. Which one are you looking at? Also has anybody out there installed a molded kit on a pt .

I recently put a flat benevento kit on mine....looks great. It needs to be warm....the glue heated with a heat gun or good blow dryer and be sure to use the primer.

Ours has the molded center. Molded pieces need different installation.

Dry fit to make sure how you want it.
After you've primered the console and pulled off the red plastic, lightly spray the 3M tape with rubbing alcohol. This will make it a little slippery and not stuck on first contact. Keep holding and working until alcohol evaporates.
If your kit has a piece you don't want, practice with it first on an old piece of plastic (coke bottle?) using the alcohol.

I have a sunroof deflector made by them, and other than a nasty installation which requires creativity or infant hands, it's a quality piece, so you should be okay.
