Default speaker question

I would search for answers but for some reason it will not allow me to.

My front speakers are blown. I have many speakers in boxes but do not know if they are the correct sizes.Could someone tell me the dimensions (front/rear). Thought while I was at it I would change the rears too since they are factory.

My pt is an 03 GT

Thanks for you help

The backs are 6x8. The fronts are 6 3/4". Best of luck.

I don't remember what year your PT is, but I replaced all 4 of my door speakers with 6.5" with a mounting depth of 1.9".

Default 2nd gen (2006-2010) chrome speaker trim rings?

I cant seem to find the Chrome Speaker Trim Rings for the 2nd gen PT Cruiser. I have 2008 Limited. All the stores I see the 2001-2005 rings but they specifically state they DONT FIT the 2006-2010.
I KNOW they exist because, 1 I see them in a video posted by an Italian removing the door of a 2nd gen, and 2, there ARE rings available for sale on cruizermotorsports but they want $89 for them, which is crazy high to me given that I see them for sale on eBay and Alibaba for other cars for $20 a set or even less.

Has anyone been able to match up any?I measured and it looks like the inner diameter is 4 5/8ths and the outer is 5 3/8ths... which is interesting because the speakers are 6 1/4 and the grills arent even big enough for the speaker! Im tempted to cut out a bigger home from the back and just find some 6 1/2" grills and screw them over the holes.... thoughts?

I bought a set of these for my 2007 Convertible. While they looked like rings online, what came were just straight pre-cut pieces of stick-on chrome trim. And they didn't fit without being cut again and didn't stick well either because the tape on the back of the trim was cheap. I imagine most of the ones you can buy are just pre-cut pieces of generic trim like this. And in that case, the best plan is likely just to buy a roll of quality trim and cut them yourself.

PS: Here's what looks like some rigid chrome rings for a 2nd Gen PT. But they are bad expensive:
