while you could do that it sure seems like a lot of extra work with a verry small reward i kind of like mine but then i like the rear window wiper as well

The "towel bar" as it has been nick named doesn't bother me either.

Hmmmm, makes me consider putting a "towel rack" on my 2005 PT. Looks like it would be a simple couple of mount bolts through the glove box door. I'll be lookin' for a "towel rack" the next time I'm at the pull-n-pay yard.
