Default AutoStick Shift Knob

Anybody know if any of the aftermarket vendors are selling an upgraded shift knob for the GT's AutoStick? The cheesy plastic knob is very irritating!! Thanks

On another forum, a guy posted that he had contacted flameball.com, inquiring if their kit would work with the AutoStick on the GT. The answer was "yes."

I contacted them, and the answer was "no, we're working on it." Turns out it was the same person, or at least the email messages had the same sig.

So, if anyone gets one, and it works, please post immediately.

Here's what I got after inquiring

Unfortunately, it doesn't look good. The changes that DC made to the '03 shifter will not allow our current design or even one like it to work. I've tried modifying the design, but the limits of the slot in the top of the '03 shifter will not allow it to work properly. So far I have not found a solution. Sorry!

Hello everyone!

Very soon you'll be able to replace that cheesy plastic knob from the factory! :-)

We have developed a new shift knob for the 2003 Cruisers, including the ones equipped with AutoStick. They have passed through the final development stage, are in production, and the first batch is now at the chrome shop. We expect to begin selling them in about 2 weeks. We'll post some pics on our website as soon as we have them available.

The knobs are CNC machined from solid billet and then triple chrome plated. They have the push-button "park release" on top, so operation will be same as the factory knob.

The actual design looks similar to the Revelations billet shifter assembly we already manufacture for the 2001-2002 automatics, so I think you're going to love them. However, the best part is they should be about $50.00 cheaper because they are much easier to make!

Just wanted to let everyone know...
