Default Triple Gauge Pod

Does anyone have one of these? How hard was it to install? Do they face you or point up as some of the pictures insinuate?

Seeking Info!!

Thanks!

I don't have a gauge pod yet but plan on getting one soon. The gauges actually point toward you so you can read them, because pointing up would be silly....but you knew that was really the case all along now, didn't you? []

Some pictures of them off the car make them look really funky, I'll admit. But once they're on you can see/read 'em just fine.

i have a dual gauge pod mounted in my pillar for my air pressure readings on each airbag. fit nice just a little tight with all the airlines running to it. had to turn my gauges sideways. still nice though.

Yes, i "knew" that it was stupid for the gauges to point up. But if you look at pics at say PT-Tuning and Revel they do appear to point up along with the brace.

So, that is why i asked! []

At http://www.raceandstreet.com/ptgaugepods/
They offer them painted for you or primed. In other forums this is the site that is reccomended.
FYI if youre in a car with the Dark Slate interior (black) this is the paint that is reccomended: The color is SEQUOIA by SEM and the part # is 15673.

My interior is black on the bottom and grey up top. I plan to repaint the upper vinyl to black.
