Question Problem pulling out cargo area bulb

Greetings:

Most of my questions were answered in this older thread:

Rear cargo light

However I could not pull the T906 bulb out of the socket, my fingers can barely grab it inside the narrow cup, and when they do (sort of) they keep slipping on the glass as I start to squeeze and pull.

Can anyone suggest some tool or technique I could use to pull it out without breaking it?

Also, is it possible to replace it with an LED bulb without having to add any resistors? Like say, these ones on Amazon:

Regards,

Ed

Try wrapping duct or packing tape around it? Should give you a tail to pull
