No digital camera for the interior either (see my "exterior" post).
Yeah, I know - DC doesn't make the black plastic step pads for the rear doors. Wanna bet? You buy the front ones, grind off the nubs on the bottom, shorten them by about 2-2&1/2", reverse em, install using 3M tape. Now my daughter will be happy (I've only had them for a few months and finally got around to installing).[8D] |

Ahhhh.....super!! I'd been wanting a set for the back doors to match the front ones and had not been able to find any. Thanks for stepping out in faith and giving a go at making some. I'll be on my way to the dealer shortly to follow suit!

I'd love to take credit for the "new" idea except it's not new at all. I got the know-how from the ptdiy site way back when it was free. I don't remember the PTer's name who deserves the credit but it isn't me. Thanks all the same.[8D]
PS - Before installing BE SURE TO CLEAN THE AREA WITH DENATURED ALCOHOL.

Actually, you can use the front step pads without cutting them at all if you are careful in your alignment and if you reverse them. I was concerned that I would not be satisified with the way they would look after I cut them down so I attached them full length. They have been on for over a year without any trouble.
