Default Cheap and fun seat covers

Costco has Hawaiian print seat covers. 2 for 17.99. They fit well, but you have to cut holes for the arm rests. They have 5 or 6 different styles.

I ended up getting hawaiian seat covers from shearcomfort.com and they fit great. They have tons of different kinds too, worth checking out!

If you have the "front outboard seat-mounted supplemental air bags", make sure you cut the seat covers so they can deploy in a crash.

Hey Crewzin...when did those become available on PT's. I'm pretty sure my that my '05 TE Convertible doesn't have them.

Terry,

They've been available since the first PT hit the streets back in 2000. It's the air-bag that's in the outside shoulder of both the driver and passenger seat. What I called them in the post above is exactly word-for-word how they are described in the 2000 Chrysler brochure.

I know they came standard in the "Limited Edition" model but I'm not sure if they came on the Base or Touring models

Thanks Crewzin, I'm pretty sure I don't have them as it doesn't say anything on my window sticker from the car. The reason I ask is I saw some very nice leather seat covers today and was thinking of getting them.

Don't know if the window sticker would say if you have them or not but on the outside shoulder of the drivers and passengers seat is a little patch with "SRS Airbag" written on it.

Thanks for the note Dilly, I apologize for hijacking your thread somewhat. I have to go to my Costco this afternoon, I may take a look.

Thanks Crewzin, I appreciate your help. I will go back and get those leather seat covers, as I said they were very nice, a little pricey but nice.

Windancer, where did you find the leather seat covers? I have an '05 vert and want the leather covers as well. Actually, I don't care if they are true leather, but I like the two-tone look. Did you find them for front and rear seats?

Thanks
