Default Replacement seats (maybe) for a 2007 Touring

So, here is the issue. The seats are uncomfortable for me after about an hour. I am 6'2" and around 250#. The biggest problem is the lip on the right side of the driver seat, which just digs into my leg. On longer drives, I usually jam my hand under my leg to hold that lip down. I considered a seat cushion, but I am barely not rubbing the roof already. I would consider a sunroof installation, but Chicago is not exactly designed for that year round. Has anyone experienced this issue, or replaced their seat(s)? I am not sure if a seat cover would make a difference, but if other said it worked for them I will give it a try.

i did a quick google and found some memory foam and gel car cushions on amazon

maybe you can try some of those .

i recently bought some car seat covers that have some padding under them, but i can't comment on how comfortable they are after an hour, since i'm never in my car for that long. They are comfortable while i'm on them though.

Every body fits car seats differently.
My PT seats have been perfect for me.
The leather ones, the better!

My guess is, if you are thinking about replacing with a seat from another type of car, you are going to run into all kinds of mounting and sensor issues.

What I would do, if it's only the driver seat for you...is...go to a good auto upholstery shop and have the FIT YOU with a custom made foam inner, and cover it to match the PT.
I've had great luck with even "iffy" looking car upholstery shops.
